Science in Motion

How do scientists learn more about the world? Scientists usually follow an organized set of procedures to solve problems.
The ancient greeks believed in supernatural beings-gods and goddness-whose powers made the world work. Aristitle also investigated how objects move and why they continue moving. He believed that the speed of a falling object depends on its weight. Galileo and others came after him gradually developed new ideas about h ow to learn about the universe. 
The study of motion, forces, and energy is part of physical science. Physical sceintists also learn about elements, atoms, electricity, sound, and more.
